Hudson Oktoberfest presented by Upper Depot Brewing in Hudson: Upper Depot turns Saturday into an eight-hour Oktoberfest, noon to 8pm, with beer and bites.

Belleayre Fall Festival at Belleayre Mountain in Highmount: Free admission and free parking, with live music on the Subaru Stage, craft vendors, and stein-holding and pie-eating contests plus gondola rides for views of flaming foliage. Maybe gondola first, pie eating after. Runs Oct 3, 4, 10 and 11, 10am to 5pm.

Catskill Food Festival at Dutchman's Landing Park in Catskill: Food trucks, local food vendors, live music and artisan shopping set up on the Catskill waterfront, noon to 6pm, rain or shine.

Oktettafest at Tetta's Market in Olivebridge: Tetta's Market throws a small-batch Oktoberfest with brats, beer and pretzels around the fire pit. I’m only letting them get away with this shitty AI flier because they’ve saved my friends’ asses during ice storms.

Lil Deb's Oasis Block Party in Hudson: This is the end, my friends! Lil Deb's concludes ten years in Hudson with a block party. Catch this tropical-comfort-food fixture before it closes its doors for good.

Left Bank Ciders Harvest Party at Heather Ridge Farm in Preston Hollow: Left Bank pours cider at the Preston Hollow farm where it gathers wild apples, while Chef Jo grills lamb and chicken raised right there. Sam Lisbeth plays, kids get stuff to do, and it should be peak leaf. Noon to 4.

An Autumnal Banquet at The Spark of Hudson in Hudson: Fancy Feast Supper Club cooks a Libra season banquet on her own birthday, 6:30 to 10, capped at 44 guests. Every dollar goes to the Spark of Hudson's Youth Apprenticeship Program.

An Evening with Ravensbeard Wildlife Center at Rose Hill Farm in Red Hook: Ravensbeard brings its ambassador birds of prey to the farm at 6pm. Expect stories about its rescue and rehab work, a Q&A, and time to meet each bird up close. Tickets are on the flyer's QR code.

Saturday, October 17

Kingston Design Showhouse in Saugerties: Tickets are on sale for the eighth annual Kingston Design Showhouse, a midcentury stone house in Saugerties open Oct 17 through Nov 1. Find inspiration for every room of your home before you're trapped inside it by snow. It's $38, and the money goes to Circulary, which keeps building materials out of landfills.

Feast for Our Future: Rock Steady Farm's 2nd Annual Fundraising Dinner in Millerton: A farm tour leads into Filipino dishes from Harana Market's Chef Chris Mauricio, built on the farm's own produce, with a YesFolk Kombucha elixir tasting and DJ BKP closing out the dance floor. 2 to 5:30pm, sliding scale $50 to $375.

Sunday, October 18
